But we fail to realize that online file storage is at our finger tips and it is absolutely free of cost ! Google provides Gmail service with almost 10 GB storage capacity for its free user, we can harness this space t store our file online within Gmail interface and the best thing is that it will be password protected 
Can We Use Gmail To Store MP 3 File Online?
Yes…. Gmail let its user to play MP3 songs and files right inside the Gmail account. This is one of the best feature of Gmail because it helpful in both way as all mp3 files are get stored on Google server and it available all the time on any PC across the world provided that you have access to your Gmail account.
As all of us know that Gmail is providing 7 GB web space for its free usage; we can store that much mp3 files in Gmail inbox. This will helpful to reduce extra files from your computer and get more space and memory for other files. We can use Gmail as mp3 player.
How to use Gmail to store mp3 files?
- If you wanted to store many mp3 files on Gmail then first thing you need to do is to create new Gmail account which will be dedicated to store mp3 files in Gmail.
- Now login to that account and compose new mail, upload few mp3 files preferably all songs from one movie.
- Now send that mail to yourself. You will receive that mail in your ‘Inbox’ of Gmail.
- Open the new mail that you sent to yourself and you will find all mp3 files in your mail.
You can upload as many mp3 files you want upto 7 GB. To become well organized I will suggest to upload all songs of same movie or album should be uploaded in one mail. Compose new mail for new movie or album and put the name of that movie in ‘subject’ field of mail.
Once you upload all mp3 songs to your Gmail account; go to Inbox and label all mail according to your need. e.g. for all mail that includes mp3 songs from Salman Khan movies can be labeled as ‘Salman Khan Movie Mp3′. This will be helpful to find mp3 files in future.
How to listen mp3 files in Gmail?
This is a child play. Gmail allow to play mp3 files in inbox only. Google does have inbuilt mp3 player. To listen mp3 song just open the mail that contain desired mp3 file, you will find and ‘Play’ as well as ‘Download’ link below the name of mp3 file. Just press the play link and a pop up window will open and your mp3 songs will begins to play.
As one can see that this new pop up window also have option to download the mp3 to your computer. So whenever you feel like downloading the MP 3 files that you are stored within Gmail, you can download it.
